From Quimper I made a visit to Locronan, a Breton village par excéllence. The village has become an open air museum - with reason, as literally every corner of it was worth a picture.
Because of its beauty and typical characteristics for the region, Locronan has been the setting for many films amongst which ‘Tess’ by Roman Polanski. The village owes its underground electricity network to this film, which was put into place for the shootings.
